Houston Accordion Orchestra Retreat 2025

We will have another camp in Madison, WI on June 17-22, 2025 in collaboration with a very prestigious group Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society (BDDS). We’ve already got a spotlight on one of their programs at the final Saturday night concert. In addition our orchestra will perform a concert for the Holy Wisdom Monastery audience! (Attached Flyer) That will be a great experience for our orchestra to share the stage with the greatest musicians in the world. We are grateful to have such an opportunity.

We need to hear from you ASAP and want to make sure we reserve your spot first before we make an announcement to the public (We have only 22 spots available).

Coming up in January is The Houston Accordion Orchestra Retreat!

This time, we have an American music theme, with music by Samuel Barber, Willam Grant Still, Danny Elfman, George Gershwin, and Percy Aldridge Grainger. In addition, the orchestra will premiere new works by our own youth orchestra members.

Also, each youth ensemble member is writing variations on the theme Twinkle-Twinkle Little Star as their assignment. Finally, we will combine all the variations and perform it as a collaborative piece of music. Very exciting!
